At the Regional Calendaring Centre (RCC*E), Goodyear applies rubber to fabric. At the Mold Plant, aluminium and steel molds are designed and produced for the vulcanisation presses. Both plants deliver their products to the European tire plants of the group. The Luxembourg Mounting Center
(LMC) is the most modern truck wheel assembly operation in Europe. It allows producing more than 8.000 units per day and to deliver to truck and trailer manufacturers all over Europe.
In order to be able to offer high-quality products, in-depth research and development is necessary. It was for this purpose that Goodyear Innovation Centre Luxembourg (GIC*L) was set up in Colmar-Berg in 1957. GIC*L is Goodyear's major tire research and development centre outside of the United States.and has a staff of more than 1000 engineers, scientists and technicians engaged in the development of car, light truck, truck and farm tires for the European, African and Asian markets.
