Carlo Thelen, General Director at the Chamber of Commerce and President of the Cluster for Logistics, gave an opening speech and highlighted that: "We need to act now, but our companies also need to remain competitive in this transition. Thus, companies need a clear vision and planning security from the government to plan these large investments ahead."

Next, Daniel Kohl, new Director of the Custer, gave an introduction and wake-up call about energizing freight transport for a green future.

The Cluster was glad to welcome Ewa Ptaszynska, Deputy Head of Unit for Road Transport DG Move, European Commission, as the keynote speaker of the evening.
