The Cluster for Logistics visited the SHIPSTA offices and Luxport Group at the Port de Mertert on 27th April 2022 in the framework of the “Supply chain day 2022”.
This year the C4L wanted to create a discussion about the strategy of Luxembourg and its supply chain in a Hotspot of Logistics for over 50 years in Mertert. Therefore, the Cluster welcomed HE Ms. Florence Ensch, ambassador in Ireland and Ms. Pascale Junker, Head Luxembourg Stratégie at Ministère de l'Économie.
The C4L members SHIPSTA (a successful scale-up providing digital procurement services) and Luxport-Lorang (an intermodal company serving the steel industry and many others for decades from the ideally located border with Germany) gave an overview of their services and Luxport presented their infrastructure during a tour of the port.
